| About the Book:
Vaccines are credited with the decline and eradication of dangerous diseases worldwide. In spite of this, the number of parents refusing to vaccinate their children for different reasons has doubled in the past decade. Apprehensions about vaccines, however, are not new. In his book, VACCINE: The Controversial Story of Medicine’s Greatest Lifesaver, Arthur Allen explores the social resistance to vaccines through history.
