"Running for Cover"
at the Wachovia Complex
(Philadelphia
– May 16, 2006) – The first
annual “Running for Cover”
5K run and 1M walk will take place on
Sunday, June 25, 2006, at the Wachovia
Complex, 3601 South Broad Street, Philadelphia.
“Running for Cover” is being
hosted by The Foundation for Melanoma
research, and all proceeds from the event
will support melanoma research at The
Wistar Institute.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., the
run begins at 9:00 a.m., the walk starts
at 9:15 a.m., and the post race awards
ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. The
entry fee is $20 pre-race or $25 on race
day, and teams are welcome. For more information,

The Foundation for Melanoma Research,
founded in 1999 by Noreen O’Neill
after she was diagnosed with malignant
melanoma, is a non-profit organization
dedicated to raising awareness and funding

Historically, this is the first time
the Wachovia Complex has been used as
a route for such an event. The Wachovia
Complex incorporates both the Wachovia
Spectrum and The Wachovia Center.
The Wistar Institute is an independent
