Training and Job Opportunities

The dual goals of the Wistar Institute Center for Systems and Computational Biology’s Training Program are to: 1) expand computational and biostatistical expertise at the Institute, and 2) train tomorrow’s scientists in the multi-disciplinary field of Systems Biology.

Available Training Opportunities

Philadelphia Healthcare Trust-sponsored Training Opportunities: Funding is available for part-time and full-time computational positions at the undergraduate student, graduate student, and visiting scientist levels. Funding support is limited to trainees conducting primarily computational or systems biology studies under the direct supervison of a Center faculty member. Applicants interested in this program should contact a pertinent Center faculty member who will submit an application on the student’s behalf.
