How to Obtain Services

For Information regarding printing, hybridizing,or analyzing arrays you can contact the array support email hotline Arraysupport@wistar.org or more urgently at 215-898-3902. You should expect an answer the same day. For all other services please refer to the headings below.

• Microarray Ordering:
  Please check the updated list of arrays, and the gene lists for each array on our ftp site. Please contact Celia Chang have questions about ordering, costs, or availability of specific arrays described on this site.More information is available in the cDNA arrays page of this site.
Hybridization /Amplification/ Imaging Services
Contact Celia Chang in order to arrange expression analysis of your mRNA samples. Our lab will radioactively label your RNA, hybridize and wash the arrays according to our lab protocols. All samples submitted for analysis must be accompanied by this Form. Calen Nichols is our resident amplification expert. Please contact Calen with your questions.
• Microarray Analysis:
  Please contact Wen Hwai Horng to request analysis. The following Form must be filled out completely and given to WenHwai or faxed to 215-898-3902. If you are inexperienced with our microarrays we welcome your visit to look over the image before doing analysis. Example images are available on the Array Analysis page.
• Sequencing:
  Please contact Ms. MeiFang Xie by email at DNA_SEQ@wista.wistar.upenn.edu in order to schedule your sequencing. Then fill out the DNA Sequencing Sample Submission Form and fax it to Mei at 215-898-3868. In many cases the sequencing can be completed within 24 hours. Mei can also be reached at 215-898-3911. Please check her sequencing site for further information
• Custom Array Printing:
  Please contact Celia Chang to discuss options for your array. Celia can also be reached at 215-898-3902. For more information please check out the custom array page.
• Library Clones:
  Bacterial Stocks from Specific genes of interest in the core libraries, comprising nearly 60,000 unique Human and Mouse clones, can be picked for Wistar Investigators. After visiting our ftp site and verifying that we have the clone you are interested in, please take the time to fill out the clone selection form and email it to Celia Chang or fax it to 215-898-4521arrange copies. If you have difficulty finding a clone of interest, please contact Arraysupport@wistar.org and we will help you look.
