Monoclonal Antibody SAP for the Detection of the ß3 Subunitof the Vitronectin Receptor

Description: Origin: BALB/c mice were immunized with membranes of freshly isolated platelets. Fusion of spleen cells was done with P3xAg8.653.

SAP is specific for the ß3 subunit of the ß3 vitronectin receptor, which is expressed on endothelial cells, platelets, melanoma, and glioma cells. The antibody is of high affinity.
