Combinatorial Antibodies Against
Stage-Related Melanoma Antigens
Inventor:
Dorothee
Herlyn
Tech ID:
HD-96003
Description:
B cell libraries were prepared from melanoma patients who had complete
clinical responses after tumor cell vaccination. The libraries were
expressed on the surfaces of filamentous phages, then phages binding
preferentially to melanoma cells were isolated. These libraries
recognize stage-related melanoma-associated antigens. The antibodies
may be useful for diagnosis of melanoma and the antigens recognized
by the antibodies may have potential for vaccines against melanoma.
Key Words:
Diagnostic, therapeutic, immunoassay, cancer, vaccine, melanoma
Applications
and Advantages: The antibodies may be useful for immunodiagnosis
of melanoma and the antigens recognized by the antibodies may have
potential for vaccines against melanoma.
Intellectual
Property Status: U.S. and international patents are pending.
Licensing
Opportunity: This technology is available for license for
diagnosis or therapy of melanoma.
