Recognizing Your Gift

We recognize that charitable giving is very personal and will honor the wishes of those who give anonymously. We do make every attempt to recognize those donors who give $100 and up in our Annual Report. Additionally for those who give $1,000 and over we will place your name on our Wall of Honor which is located in the atrium of the main building of the Institute. For those whose cumulative giving is greater than $10,000 we will permanently place their names in a separate special category of our Wall of Honor, as listed below:

  • Guarantor - $10,000 to $49,999
  • Patron - $50,000 to $99,999
  • Centennial Society - $100,000 to $499,999
  • Isaac Wistar Society - $500,000 to $999,999
  • President's Council - $1 million and above

In addition there may be certain instances where someone is interested in creating a specific fund or endowment program. We are available to discuss these possibilities and have several such funds already in existence.

Finally the acknowledgment of gifts is done in a timely and courteous manner and we consider this the responsibility and duty of the Development office and would welcome any suggestions or concerns regarding this process.

For information about the recognition of your gift you may contact the Development Office at 215-898-3930.
