Make a Gift Through Your Workplace

Sometimes it is easier to give through a payroll deduction plan at work. Workplace giving may also help to increase your donation through an employer matching gift program.

Giving Through United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign
You may make a gift to The Wistar Institute through your workplace either
through the United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign (if you are a governmental employee) by designating The Wistar Institute as your charity of choice on your campaign form. There are some restrictions on this, so you will need to check with the individual conducting the campaign in your workplace. For example, in the case of the United Way, the United Way you give to must allow non-member agencies to be recipients.

Matching Gifts
There are hundreds of corporations that will match employees' gifts dollar for dollar up to a pre-determined level. Check with your employer to find out if you have such a program, fill out the appropriate form, and send it to The Wistar Institute, 3601 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104, ATTN: Development Office.

This doubles your gift to the Institute for recognition purposes, but not for tax purposes.
