Elizabeth Pesce is a member of The Wistar Institute’s Leadership Council.

Elizabeth's father, an estate attorney, worked with The Wistar Institute. When her father died of colon cancer, her family set up a fund in his memory: the Louis Washburn Memorial Fund, which raises money to support research studying the environmental factors that cause cancer.

Elizabeth is also a breast cancer survivor. In this video, she explains why she chooses to support a place like Wistar.
