Discover the beauty and complexity of life as seen through today’s advanced microscopes. The world’s best photomicrographers have captured dynamic images that showcase a wide variety of advanced scientific disciplines.
The exhibit of winning images from Nikon’s 2012 Small World photography contest gives you a glimpse into a world that most have never seen—the intersection of art and science as viewed through the lens of a microscope. The Wistar Institute is the only local host of the Nikon Small World exhibition.
This is Wistar's 10th year of hosting the Nikon Small World Exhibit in the Philadelphia region.
Each year we are happy to provide an opportunity for people to enjoy the intersection of science and art with a free opening night reception.
Please consider making a contribution to The Wistar Institute today so we can continue to bring you interesting programs and events that stimulate discussions around science. Thank you!
This free exhibit is open to the public from February 4 through April 21, 2013, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
