Foundation and Corporate Support
Support from private foundations provides important
resources for a variety of programs at The Wistar Institute. Foundation
grants support start up packages for new scientists, seed funding
for novel research projects, educational and training programs,
equipment purchases, and archive and museum projects. Foundation
grants can support the Institute as a whole or can be directed to
a particular program or project.
Corporate partnerships have also been an integral part of Wistar's scientific and educational programs. Corporations have sponsored programs such as the Scientific Lecture Series, the Emerging Issues in Science Series, and the Biomedical Technician Training Program. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the Albert R. Taxin Golf Classic.
