Why has Philadelphia had such a mild flu season?

Wistar's Scott Hensley shares his thoughts with the Philadelphia Inquirer on the possible reasons behind this year's abnormally mild flu season, which the Inquirer calls "the kindest flu season in 29 years."

The Inquirer reports that there were only 80 flu cases in all of Pennsylvania in January. Why? No one knows for sure. Henley comments: "With flu, everything is unpredictable."
