The Wistar Institute Welcomes Dana Nae Garcia to its Board of Trustees

Veteran healthcare executive brings more than two decades of experience in organizational transformation, growth strategy, and operational leadership.

PHILADELPHIA — (September 30, 2026) — The Wistar Institute, a global leader in biomedical research in cancer, immunology and infectious disease, is pleased to welcome Dana Nae Garcia to its Board of Trustees. Garcia is a seasoned healthcare and business executive with a strong background in building, transforming and improving businesses to create long-term value.

Currently, Garcia serves as Chief Operating and Transformation Officer at Konovo, a global healthcare insights and data platform, where she leads operations across North America, Europe, India, and Latin America. Prior to Konovo, Garcia held senior leadership positions at Aetion, a leading real-world evidence analytics platform serving biopharmaceutical companies, payers, and regulators, where she guided North American commercial operations and global client engagement efforts.

She has also held leadership roles at Vynamic, a healthcare consultancy and strategy firm, and Deloitte Consulting. She will serve on the Board’s Business Development and Communications & Marketing committees.

Garcia received a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She currently resides in the Greater Philadelphia region with her husband and two young children.
